The name Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se was founded by Fyèlêyê Morgan, who was culturaly Tauric.

Overview

Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se was founded durring the early 12th century in fall of the year 1123, by Fyèlêyê Morgan. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Fyèlêyê Morgan.

Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of restrictive packed earth streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town rests behind a thick wall made from clay bricks. The wall has all of the proper fortifications and is well made. Unfortuantly the nature of clay brick leaves it quite vulnerable to siege equipment, though the thickness of the wall lends it simmilar resistnace to a thinner hardrock wall. Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se's millitarily questionable fortifications has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Right off the bat Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The new wealth has created some worrying attitudes in many passers by, such that it’s clear new laws have recently been enacted and enforced with such extreme scrutiny the locals seem to be going about their day as if by clockwork.

Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century Mount Agony, an iconic vista located neare Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se, proved to be volcanic when the mountain erupted. The eruption was isolated to the area around Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se, which was swallowed in ash, lava flows, and pyroclastic gasses. Híhmíhi̊shíhg ār Se lost 218 people, 340 livestock, and 69 buildings in the disaster. The event is forever remembered as the Day of Agony's Wrath.
